Patriotic Song Performance for the Eastern Star ladies of the Springfield Masonic Lodge
Here’s an opportunity to entertain by doing what you like to do – play the ukulele. You will entertain the guests at a dinner sponsored by the Eastern Star ladies of the Springfield Masonic Lodge with patriotic songs. It is on July 7th, between 6:30 and 8:30. Further details will be provided as they become available.
Eastern Star have requested NVUS play patriotic songs, some as sing-alongs, following their dinner and before their dance. All Society members are invited to RSVP and play. You will be led by one of the senior members/song leaders from the Society. You would play from the to be published set list — Set list is being finalized by the Society’s leadership. Most of the songs will be from NVUS Patriotic Song Book, plus several others that you will be provided via our website. We will also be reviewing or playing some of these tunes as part of the group lessons or jams over the next several months.
The performance will be about 45 minutes. A detailed schedule (e.g. onsite time, set up time, stage time, etc.) will soon be published, as well
It’s a good opportunity to share your love of the ‘ukulele and your voices in the company of friendly, patriotic men and women who love our country. And most importantly, have fun!

Eastern Star Performance – As of yesterday: on Sat July 7th, dinner at 6PM, we’re invited to have dinner. Performance about 7:30. Parking on either side of facility. One lot is a Metro commuter lot – one is the Masonic Lodge lot.
